What people are saying:
The Qype model seems simple enough. Enthusiastic web users post photos and reviews of entertainment venues they visit and services they use which they think other people looking for recommendations will find useful. Qype sells advertising and sponsorship deals on the back of that traffic. It’s so simple that plenty of others are trying to replicate it, including Yelp, Trusted Places, Tipped and Spoonfed
Qype publishes reviews and related listings for local businesses – just one firm targeting the traditional audience and advertisers of the local newspaper industry that is being dubbed the local-social space
