The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) has announced their support for the Institute of Direct Marketing (The IDM) Award in Data Management. The award is the first of its kind, comprising an innovative online training course that will address the lack of knowledge around data management.
Currently, data management is an area often overlooked within companies, with focus and resources being placed in other “value-driving” areas of business.
The course is broken into nine modules, available to do online from March 2011. Designed to set the standard for all data management, the course will explore best practice, technologies for managing and exploiting data, how to gain “quality data” and building a compelling business case for investing in data.
