We’re almost half way through 2010! Here’s some of the new stuff which has been keeping us busy since the start of the year.
On the TV front we’ve been working on everything from soap staple Neighbours (video competition to win a guest role), to reality hits America’s Next Top Model and BAFTA nominated Life Begins. Former BAFTA interactive award winner, and ongoing Tempero project, Embarrassing Bodies has also soft launched sister site Embarrassing Bodies Kids where our expertise safeguarding young people online will be put to use moderating comments, questions, and answers submitted by users age 13+.
Also in TV we’ve had some fun engaging with FlashForward fans across social networks, blogs, and forums to drive users to the official FlashForward app on Facebook.
Managing engagements on the TDA’s profiles began in the new year, and we’re just getting up and running again after some down time throughout 2010’s Election purdah http://www.facebook.com/teaching & http://www.facebook.com/teach
On Facebook we’ve also extended our work moderating the Captain Morgan Global and US pages to cover 10 new local Captain Morgan pages, such as Captain Tallahassee, and added the Bushmills Whiskey page to our moderation portfolio for Diageo.
By far our biggest project of the year, and possibly of all time, was moderating the competition entries for Benetton’s It’s My Time global casting campaign. More to come separately on that project.
If you’re looking for something fun on the web then head over to the BBC’s A History of the World in conjunction with the British Museum. Add your object and story to the website which aims to tell world history through the stories associated with objects, from flint to mobile phones.
