We’re currently hiring a Social Media analyst – you can view the full job listing and apply here.

If you’re interested in working for us I thought I’d provided some top tips on making an impression:

Make sure your CV and Cover Letter are tailored to the job, not just generic bumf

If you don’t know what social media is the job probably isn’t for you

The time has come to farewell our intern @beckymaisey *sob*.

The time has come to farewell our intern @beckymaisey *sob*.

Before she heads off in to agency world she very kindly shared her thoughts on what she learned at Tempero and how the experience benefited her. We wish her luck on her next adventures and hope she still pops by for lunch sometimes. (Japanese? Spanish? Vietnamese?)

Graduating from university in the middle of the recession, along with thousands of other people, was extremely tough and I experienced many failed attempts to join a graduate scheme during the following months. Whilst searching Twitter for opportunities I came across a tweet from Tempero who were looking for an intern – typical as they are a social media management company!

Working for Tempero has been great and extremely rewarding. I have had the opportunity to work on projects involving high profile brands such as the BBC, Benetton, RSPCA, and help execute an eBook project on User Generated Content (UGC) and the Law from the research stage through to the launch event. Exposure to the turbulent world of social media and the legalities surrounding UGC (which I was previously unaware of) has given me the opportunity to meet lots of new people, as well as gain invaluable experience and knowledge that I can apply in my new job role at a London based Communications Agency.

Completing an internship with Tempero has benefited me in numerous ways. I don’t have any gaps in my CV, which I feel has made me more employable since I have kept my skills up to date during a time where I could have not worked at all. Furthermore I have learnt a lot about an industry I have never worked in before and met some great people. Thanks for the opportunity Tempero and I will miss you all!

If you’re interested in interning with Tempero then send your CV and cover letter to darika.ahrens[at]tempero.co.uk telling us what sort of opportunity you’re looking for. Links to your social media self, like blogs and twitter, are also a good idea
