The day after an award ceremony is generally a pretty delicate one, but today we’re beaming with pride having walked away with the award for Best Social Agency at the RAR Digital Awards.
On the whole we think awards are great, but for most of them it’s so much about what you enter, how you enter, and who’s judging them, than a recognition of a really great agency. This, the sheer time it takes and energy needed to enter awards and the fact we’re a pretty modest bunch means that we’ve tended to shy away from them in the past, but what’s great about this award is we didn’t have to enter anything. Nothing. Zip. Nada.
All we had to do was ask our clients – the people that work with us and really know us – to give an honest and frank view of what they genuinely think of us. Our clients were, in effect, the judges. And judging by last night’s win, we’re pretty happy knowing that our clients are happy.
